Comments Thread For: Froch: I'll Walk Through Anything Andre Ward Throws

The “Sheriff of Nottingham” - WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch - has a huge unification bout against unbeaten American Andre Ward on Oct. 29. Froch, 33 and the owner of a sparkling 28-1, 20 knockouts record, and beat Arthur Abraham and Glen Johnson after losing a close decision in Denmark to Mikkel Kessler, doesn’t buy Ward being invincible.

I keep hearing these fighter's say a lot before they fight Ward but once they get in the ring he puts an old school whoopin on them.

Ward will beat Froch in a fight that will be tough early but the S.O.G. will do enough foundation work early that he will dominate the latter rounds.

The fight should be in NY in MSG. As far away from Ward's hometown, hell I bet Froch have more fans in the US than Ward.

If this was right, this final would had been hell in Nothingham or London, Ward cant draw flies to ****, and Froch have a very good following in Britain. Plus Ward have been protected all of this tournament.

I expect Ward to start fast winning 4 out of the first 6 rounds and then Froch takes over and wins the last half of the fight 5-1 in rounds, winning a close UD!!

And I'll bet you 30,000,000 that your wrong. Step up, be a man, and take the bet if you're sure of this. In other words put up or shut up.

Froch has become extremely overrated and Ward will beat him far easier than you believe.

Froch seems over-confident, he doesn't rate Ward.

It's one thing saying he'll walk through his punches, it's something else landing some of his own, Ward isn't that easy to hit.

Also the headbutts could soften up Froch's chin.

War Froch, but I hope he takes a more considered mental approach coming closer to the showdown.

Ward will be working on his power in this fight so I hope froch doesn't think like that.

Ward thrives in "tourney" situation moreso than in regular bouts since olympc days.he looks more focused and determined when he knows it's a light at the end of that tunnel and since it being the final I see him controlling the fight throughtout. ward is too well rounded for froch.

I really think that's a bad game plan tbh..I believe Froch needs to be on the backfoot and making Ward come to him(limiting Wards countering opp)..Froch coming forward gives away his reach advantage(imo)and allows Ward to control the action...
