Sr, Jr, Roger, Golden Boy all began their propoganda campaign and witch hunt in the summer/fall of '09 after the Hatton fight and before/during/immediately after the Cotto fight, before anyone on this board had ever heard of WADA, USADA, or Olympic Style Drug Testing.

Golden Boy's execs tried and failed to have the case dismissed, they got the message. They were smart enough to apologize and settle out of court. Floyd is going with the 'I won't show up and see how that goes' strategy and trying to get into witness protection

Floyd knows he's in deep ****, probably the only reason he's fighting and looks like he aged 10 years overnight. Don't see what's so hard about gathering the mountain of evidence he has to support turning down $50-65 million and taking the stand- it'll take a few hours, just one day.

Floyd has every right to ask for testing and the ONLY way to prove Manny's not juicing is to submit to testing. The US court system, the media and the judge setting these foolish standards are gonna look like damn fools when it comes out that Manny has been cheating.

Doesn't change the fact that Golden Boy, Floyd Sr, Floyd Jr, and Roger conducted a smear campaign even before OST was ever mentioned or negotiations began. Like I said before, fools think this is about OST.... has absolutely nothing to do with that and there's a mountain of evidence for the case, which is why judges have repeatedly dismissed motions to dismiss or skip depositions.

Floyd and co cut a lot of checks with their mouths that their asses can't cover. So now instead of being a man and facing up to his actions, Floyd is skipping out of his court-mandated duty, and looking for the court to protect him from taking the stand.

All I'm saying is, he should take those emails from team Pac and whatever other evidence he has about Pac abusing PEDs and present it at the deposition.

I mean surely he must have some compelling evidence that convinced him $50-65 million isn't worth the risk of taking on a genetically enhanced midget, right? He wasn't just talking out of his ass to try to find a way to avoid the fight, right? So why not let the world know why he said what he said?

Deposition would take a handful of hours to complete, he could still probably train on that day. Why the need for a protective order?
