As someone posted earlier...if you're parents are both Mexican (both being born in Mexico) and you are born in the US you're citizenship/nationality is American but culturally you are Mexican. The majority of us...we talk, eat and **** Mexican.

I never deny my nationality...I'm an American! even though some people might doubt it...but one look and you know I'm Mexican (or Latino) descent. I can't even deny that but why would I? I'm proud of my culture!!

Always be proud of your culture. Never forget your roots but be thankful to be American. And just in case some of you can't stand being American...then go back.

And please spare me the history lesson. Lo que paso paso. Let it go and move on.

[QUOTE=Cuauhtémoc1502;10769200]Don't be ***in ignorant, Oscar's parents were BORN in Mexico and raised him to understand Mexican culture. He also traveled to Mexico every year to visit his grandparents and that's why he speaks Spanish.....

Vete ala verga guey, like i was saying, if you always came out with the american flag thats fine, he was born here, dlh didnt started to be all pro mexican till after chavez , coming out with the mex flag and sombrero, ortiz looks like hes doing the same thing now, if he would have started out with coming out with the mex flag that would have been different. like isaid dont try to be all pro mexican just to get more fans, phoneyness stands out. asi es que chupas y dejas nuevos, con tu culo y no con los dedos

Fak, who cares what he is, I like him because he has balls, fights well, is strong and isn't afraid to brawl. He has proved he has both skill, heart, balls and power. I think he may suffer from not being "accepted" enuff by the Mexican community, just like his great mentor. But he is a Mexican-American or a Mexican from USA. He can never just be classified as Mexican.

Let Victor Ortiz rob a liquor store and he instantly becomes a w.etback illegal that should go back to Mexico....lol
This needs to be addressed, you have said **** like this for ages. You say Ortiz is Mexican because of his face? Ortiz is American, with Mexican heritage. He doesn't act Mexican and you are a citizen of where you are born, he is clearly American. He looks Mexican, so he must be a Mexican wtf? By that theory NO ONE is American. My family comes from Poland but I'm born in American. So, I'm Polish, not American?

You obviously are either not proud to be American or just choose not to consider yourself one, so why do you stay in America? If you don't consider yourself American, why stay here and live off our things. If you aren't American, why stay and make American money?

no hurrrrr Donaire is American cuz he lives here hurrrr!

Manny Pacq is american he trains here hurrrr

Americans love claiming other fighters as their own, but I wonder why not for Ortiz? since he was actually born in america. but hes a MEXICAN. Just happened to be born in the USA. I consider him Mex-American

How many cholos born in the USA to Cholo parents who never learn English or get citizenship? My buddy is a Ese who has family in California and says some of his cousins who were born in CALIFORNIA DONT KNOW ENGLISH, WTF???

Curious question I want to know.

If a ****** *********** Man and WOman have a kid in Israel, does that make the kid Israeli?

If a Irish family lives in USA and has a kid is that kid American?

If a Somalian man and woman enter Canada illegally and have 20 kids are those kids Canadian?

If a Canadian(white) goes to Somalia and they somehow have a kid there is that kid Somalian?
Yes, you dumbass. If an Irish family lives in the USA and has a kid that kid is American. For your next example about a Somalian entering illegally into Canada, yes their kid is also Canadian, they are called anchor babies. You are where you were born, the rest is your heritage.

No American claims any fighter that isn't from America. No one claims Pacquaio being American, that's just your ******ity making stuff up to better your argument. As for Donaire, he is Filipino first but he is clearly now American too. No he wasn't born here but his culture is Americanized and American things is all he really knows. He has lived in America virtually as long as he can remember(how much can you remember from being 8 years old).
