You guys (Mexicans) have a slew of champions but you, "onechance87", want to own every division. So when a monster like Gamboa comes along, a guy who electrifies real boxing fans from all walks of life, you get upset because he isn't Mexican. Why is that? Are you that insecure?

Yuri isn't overrated. He's a beast. Gonzalez knows that. That's why he turned down a serious purse. He's afraid he'll get annihilated. Oh, and by the way, I like your boy Mikey Garcia. He's a good fighter and seems like a nice kid...very articulate. Unlike you, I can appreciate and root for people outside my culture/birthplace. yuri is a beast il give you that. But so far he has been fighting nothing but bums or second tier fighters except for salido. He should fight john or lopez heck even garcia or even caballero. But Il bet he faces a bum next or another second tier fighter.

Gamboa has only twenty professional fights. He handled Orlando Salido quite convincingly, and tore through Jorge Solis. Granted, Solis isn't some world-beater, but he was a solid opponent who had only two prior losses (one to Manny Pacquiao).

It's not Yuri's fault that a fight with JuanMa hasn't happened. That story has been well-documented on these forums. John is with rival "Golden Boy," so that fight has been elusive. (Although, with recent events, that might change.) Mikey Garcia is good, but still young. In my opinion, it would be unwise to put such a promising young fighter against a monster like Gamboa. Caballero? Meh....

Yuriorkis Gamboa will face anyone they put in front of him. With the exception one or two featherweights, he has everyone for lunch....
