The benefits of the extra time to heal since the Pacman injuries far outweigh what he'll lose to to inactivity.

Garcia will have him in top shape both physically and mentally.

Cotto is a great fighter, good luck to him, but, War Tony!

I really don't care for this fight anymore .Cotto and Margarito both past their prime and not pay per view worthy .Especially not around xmas time I mean really where does the winner of this fight go from here a fight with Chavez Jr. which Scum bag Arum will put that fight on pay per view to where does it end.Maybe HBO or SHOWTIME but not to pay 50 bucks unless the undercard is good.

Cotto needs to find a home for that hook.

If Cotto is getting that much, it's going to be in Vegas.

The only thing that worries me is that Cotto straight left jab. One thing that Cotto can do is do the fake to the body which will make Tony bend and then straight jab him to the face. Margarito is weak with that.

But Cotto is still weak to uppercuts and isn't mentally there. Just giving my honest 2c without talking shit and laughing at his stans.

            Dammit I can't wait!!

This is going to be a career defining fight for these two warriors. Being so, both will try to come in at their best physical and mental state. Hence, this fight will come down to who got the style and heart to win. In both these areas, I see Marg has the advantage.

Style match up, Marg is bad news for Cotto. Marg’s relentless style can be beaten by speed, superior footwork, and excellent lateral movements; and Cotto doesn’t have enough of them. Aside from the stamina department, these are the areas that Cotto’s camp should seriously work on.

There should be no question as to who got the bigger heart.

If Margarito doesnt come after Cotto with the same tenacious craziness he did in the first fight, he will get his head pounded in and I see Cotto grabbing an easier than expected decision.

Now Cotto doesn't throw nearly as much and is getting hit more and more. There's no doubt that Cotto will outbox and win the early rounds, the question is, can he hold off for a full 12?

At this stage of his career, I would have to say no. It's a bad style match up for him and if even the same Marg that came in against Pac comes in against Cotto, we are seeing another brutal fight in which Cotto ends up getting stopped.
