I'm rooting for Ortiz to win or at least knock Floyd down couple of times, these all timers been hurting the sport with inactivity or catchweights vacant belt fights against has beens its time for new bloods to take over

Another n***** lover in denial....real boxing fans know that Castillo-Mayweather I was Controversial...and many people felt Mayweather lost, but got the decision thanks to Bob Arum who was his promoter at the time....and we all know how corrupt that old **** is......

I want Ortiz to win but sadly i think Floyd is going to knock him out late in the fight or get a unanimous decision. Ortiz doesn't have the speed or experience to hang with Floyd. If Ortiz is lucky and Floyd has some ring rust he might catch him but judging from his fight with Berto he makes to many mistakes and has to many bad habits that floyd will pick apart. Once Ortiz starts getting frustrated than you can change the channel cause the fight will be over. On a side note i hope HBO takes the time to start working on better undercards cause last saturdays put me to sleep literally. My father in law had to wake me up for the main event. Thats embarrassing

if floid mayweather couldn't knock out castillo, sosa, baldomir, and judah what makes him think he could knock out ortiz? i expecting ortiz to score the knock out or knockdowns but if floid wins it wil be because of an alexander vs mathysse decision of the judges.

Well you got to look at it this way you can compare ortiz's chin to castillo and baldomir. They had way better chins than Ortiz will ever have (i.e his fight against berto and maidaian). sorry about spelling. I am not taking anything away from Ortiz but look at his fight against Berto he controlled that entire fight then got sloppy and got knocked down. Ortiz doesn't have that great a chin lets be honest also it will be much easier for floyd to hit Ortiz than it was for him to hit a younger judah. Not to mention that the frustration factor, Ortiz will start getting sloppy when he realizes floyds toying with him and he will get hit for often then normal. Im not saying he def will get ko'D but its a possibility. What i am saying is this fight wont be close. It could easily be 120 to 108 by all judges.

Well, he does not have an authorative jab, but he does use it to control the distance. Vic's my boy, but I broke down this fight the other night. The lack of an authorative jab IS going to bite him on the asss in this fight. But hey, he is fast, well-skilled, hungry, and right on top of his game..... also, he fights well to his style.

It's funny, because he shows an authoratative jab when training (mitt-work I mean, not necessarily during sparring). Enjoy the fight bro, it should be interesting.

Ortiz should KO jr within 8.....

..jr is an old man and has slowed down drastically, unless some idiot fix this fight, Ortiz should win this fight based on law of Physics. If jr was unable to KO a smaller and a lot slower guy named juan almost 2 years ago, there is ****ing no way that a 34 year old, inactive for more than a year that almost got KO'd by a 39 year old vet to win against 24 year old bull strong welter that man- handled a flat footed Berto. Not to mention the kid has proven strong chin. When GBP and jr collaborates..it's more like WWF, compared to TR, you see a busted face. My I.Q. is off the charts to actually fall for this one.
jr was the best at his best 2 years ago...but his done.. now pretty much, He is just selling his name. Skills fade when you age...Hopkins is an exception, even if lost twice to Taylor.
Ortiz didn't looked like himself during the presser....
