Will Arum keep his promise?

Do you really think Pac doesn't have enough clout right now that he could essentially promote himself? He is the most popular active boxer in the world by a mile. Why wouldn't he want to seize that popularity and capitalize on it for himself? Unless Pacquiao is a completely punchdrunk ****** (whom the Pinoy elected to congress)...this would be the apex of his popularity...I could probably drunkenly scrawl a better business plan for Pacquiao on a bar napkin with crayon than the peanuts he is getting letting Arum run his business.Comment

Not necessary, I mean only Oscar and Roy did it on their own. Everybody else needed help from a promoter.Do you really think Pac doesn't have enough clout right now that he could essentially promote himself? What if Pac knows, and maybe smart than what people give him credit. Knows if he stays with Arum. He can fight these bullcrap easy fights make 8 figures out of it. And, won't be criticize at all because everybody would blame Arum regardless. So it's easier on him to have his image intact.
While if he leaves Arum, and still pulls the crap he does on "his own"(which is doubtful) then no one can blame Arum for his cherry pick fights. Everybody would start point their fingers at Pac. Which could hurt perhaps his image as these "people champ" crap that's been going on.
It's actually quite reaching to think Arum has "dirt" on Pac. But, whatever helps you sleep at night. Go ahead and reach.Comment
