Haye actually started out saying 5,000, then 10,000 and as you say, 15,000. But you're a little behind the news, which the other day was that Haye expects 20,000 British fans to cheer him on. I wrote in about it as above.

Since the whole of Britain was only allocated 7,000 tickets in total, actually more than usual, and the German boxing public lines up for tickets the very moment they are put on sale, I also find it very hard to believe. But since it comes from Haye's dribbling mouth, we don't need to pay any attention to it.

I understand FREEDOM'S position clearly. it's not complicated. I feel exactly the same way, and always have, ever since I began boxing so many years ago. The SPORT was the thing for me, and the participant ALWAYS behaved in a sporting manner, win or lose.

Trash talking has been part of boxing for as long as boxing has existed. Many ATGs were trash talkers. And good guy vs. bad guy match-ups have always been part of boxing's appeal. Haye's "scumbag" antics (as you call them) are a big part of why this is such a huge fight, and that is in Wlad's long term interests as long as he wins. Boxing is a hurt game, not a game for saints. Wlad would actually be a lot more popular if he became a little less decent and a little more ruthless in the ring, i.e. more of a fighter, like his brother.
