As much as I want to see a prime JT I have a bad feeling he will be like Roy Jones, a bad KO waiting to happen.

Is there a boxer who actually SAVES and INVESTS the money they make while boxing? It seems like they use boxing as a payday loan place, have a fight, make a few mil and blow it, when you need more money fight again!

Every young upcoming prospect needs to have a financial advisor to handle his cash, and I dont mean Al-Haymon type advisors.

I don't see Pirog beating Taylor. Didn't count AA because he's at SM.

Not everyone and very few can comeback after bad stoppage losses like he has had, but I reserve judgement until I see him in some tuneups.

No matter what he weights now I think Taylor's problem was always conditioning, he always faded in fights. Don't get me wrong he was one of my favorite fighters but he was never 'amazing.' He has some great wins but wasn't dominant against an elite opponents, his big fights were all close.

I like Jermain Taylor and wish him the best. He's always seemed like a down to earth and humble kind of guy...

However, I don't want to see him anywhere near Sergio Martinez. Martinez is in a class above most fighters and on a freakin tear right now. He would seriously school Taylor and KO him big time. I don't why posters here want to see that. Jermain has been KO'd multiple times and has suffered multiple concussions in recent years and one more big KO is the last thing he needs...

Taylor's team should cherry pick all his future opponents and match up against guys he can win against...

                Andy Lee anyone?...

                  Not always.

He fought till then end in the Hopkins and Winky fights. Actually if it wasn't for Taylor closing out strong in the championship rounds in the 1st Hopkins fight, he would lost. He also fought pretty good for all 12 rounds in the Pavlik rematch, I had him winning that fight 115-113, but since he didn't dominated, they gave it to the champion I guess.

He also only gassed out in the 12th round in the Froch fight.

I will admit that he seems to take rounds off sometimes, but a lot of boxers do this. Taylor just does it out of comfort of him winning the fight, only to put himself in trouble for getting too comfortable. But from the sounds of it, coming back with Pat Burns, coming back to 160, and he supposedly is hungry again, I think people are in for a big surprise in a good way.

Al Haymon is by far the best advisor in the game... Easy to point out that he manages Mayweather and Mayweather banks millions every time out. Also add to the fact that he also manages Berto who was able to secure over a million dollars to fight for less than 2 minutes on an HBO undercard against Freddy Hernandez.

....so HOW is Haymon NOT a good financial advisor???
