Not that I want to see this fight, but Paulie could beat Devon. Paulie lacks power but has always been fast AND ACCURATE. Devon just throws his hands fast but has terrible accuracy. Paulie could play the sharp shooter here and outpoint the slap happy Alexander.

Bad move.. I can see testing the waters against Paulie, OK.. but to say, that was Devon's last fight ever at 140 is a death wish. Even If he manages to get past Paulie then what? Berto, Cintron, Mike Jones? LMAO he's just askin to get KTFO! ..Devon's still young man, weight isn't the issue at 140, it's his trainer. period. Moving up to 147 now really isn't the answer its much to soon for that even Lil Floyd didn't finally move up to 147 until he was 28 years old and had matured and their about the same size, Devon moving up now would be a disaster for his career and Paulie may very well beat him, Devon would be a very very small WW even Manny would make him look little LOL(weight wise)..

Berto would probably run right through Alexander.

Berto is still a very good offensive fighter with fast hands and decent pop
He would land flush shots for as long as Devon could remain on his feet

i think Paulie kind of catches to much flack, the dude has very very good boxing skills, he turns folks off due to his mouth and lack of power, but all that aside if paulie did have any type of power i think dude would be hell to deal with , it wouldnt have to even be elite power but just enough to where he can constantly stun a guy, i mean dude has something like 5 KO's Lol, i think if he had a sniff of power the guy would be hell.......cuz he's fast, touches guys enough but when he fights the upper class guys they just walk right through his **** and i mean there's just nothing he can do about that ..

Plenty of fighters go up to 147 on their first fight fighting a lesser opponent. In this case Malignaggi is probably one of the 10 best WW's imo whether The Ring has him there or not. Mayweather fought Mitchell on his first fight at 147, Pacquiao fought a weight drained DLH in his first fight at 147, Malignaggi himself fought a Lozado guy in his first fight at 147, Bradley fought some unknown Abregu guy.

Malignaggi is a good fight, I think he can beat Alexander decisively, don't underestimate him.

HOW IS THIS A GOOD IDEA?

Unless they have given up on Devon and decided to feed him to Pacquiao in case a Mayweather fight doesn't pan out.
