Why hasnt anyone pointed out how INACCURATE Devon is?

I swear, in all the years that I have watched boxing, I cant remember the last fighter that I have seen that is so inaccurate.....

He throws alot, looks good, but misses so damn much....

Go back and look at his last three fights. He missed damn near everything against Kotelnik, missed alot against Bradley, and missed a bunch during Matthysse.....

It is like he throws punches just to look busy, and not to land..... At one time, I thought he was the best at 140, but right now, I dont see him as more than a contender......

I have wondered if that is technique (pull up short and dont commit to punches to reduce the likelihood of being countered) or if he has some hand problems.

Debum Alexander is a pathetic excuse for a fighter. His pitty pat arm punches couldn't hurt my little sister.

I've been baffled since people were saying he was top 2 or even top 3 in the 140 division, guys like Kotelnik and more recently Matthyse don't get mentioned at all.

I've always wondered why Devon doesn't commit to his punches...He seems to have good power when he commits, yet never does.

Maybe it's time for Alexander to get a new trainer. Cunningham has done a good job getting him this far, but I think he needs someone else to take him to the elite level. Someone like Manny Steward would be good for him. He'd teach him how to put together his punches alot better especially his jab. He loves throwing that jab but never lands it. Alexander is still young and has all the tools to become an elite fighter.
