I didn't think Guida-Pettis was a robbery, although it is an example of how the rules (or the sport itself) is flawed because you can win a fight with very little fighting.
Boxing and MMA are both corrupt.....

Running, Wall and stalling, and Lay n Praying are just as bad as a Boxers like Devon Alexander running and getting the decisions.......Comment

It's a shame but it happens in so many sports. I guess American posters won't be particularly familiar with what's gone on in international cricket. Then there's Italian football - match fixing is clearly still going on even after the Juve scandal. It's just a lot easier to get away with in boxing because the result is subjective.Comment

To an extent, but the difference is that the lay and pray guys land hardly anything but make sure that their opponents land even less. So to me the problem is with the rules, not the judging, because the lay and pray guys do sometimes do a tiny bit more so according to the rules they 'deserve' the decision.Comment
