Its time for HBO to stop giving out boxing welfare to African American hypejobs that get blown away ie Berto, Alexander, Bradley. These African Americans are bad for boxing, They seem to think that HBO has a duty to buy there ****ty fights and give them a dole out instead of going out there and earning it.
Other African Americans like Mayweather are also bad for the sport because they build up a padded record and duck people like Pacquaio who would brutally beat Mayweather.
HBO stop the boxing welfare check's to overhyped African American boxers
If there was a good spin-off to guaranteeing them a 2nd fight it was that Alexander would have to take a tough fight instead of going on a strict tomato can diet for a few fights and allow people to forget how unimpressive he had been and then reappear looking for a top slot at least he can now be dismissed sooner the better
Alexander was never that good and the future star and p4p comments from guys like Kellerman and Jones are laughable. Bradley on the other hand is a very solid fighter and either the number 1 or 2 jrww.
HBO overpays just about ALL their boxers. They should pay the boxers lower so we can enjoy more fights. Atop from having HBO, now I'm going to have to spend another $60 bucks to watch this fight.
to be fair...Timothy Bradley said "Alexander Wasn't Ready" but yet fans turned that into "OH HE IS DUCKING ALEXANDER"
SO THE FANS GET WHAT THEY WAS PUSHING FOR and they wasn't happy with how it turned out
I have been posting on this bored for MONTHS that the 140 Division is VERY OVERRATED, especially Alexander, Khan and Ortiz (when he was at 140)
they are being hyped based on their POTENTIAL, not based on what they have already done in the ring, all are very beatable and all have SO MANY FLAWS but then against that is expected for YOUNG FIGHTERS
Bradley is pretty legit though IMO, he worked his way up the OLD SCHOOL WAY and wasn't HANDED STARDOM LIKE THE OTHERS!
if anything HBO may have invested in the WRONG DIVISION, that 140 Division has to be the most overrated and over hyped division in boxing PERIOD
