This argument is equivalent to a woman deserving to be ****d because she should have known better than to walk into that alley with revealing clothes.

"I'm not worried at all [about the judges,] because it's not going to go the distance. I've trained for a knockout, and that's what's going to happen," said Matthysse, who will meet Alexander at Family Arena, Saint Charles, Mo., before what is expected to be a crowd that favors the St. Louis, Mo., native.

"I'm not worried about a decision and I can't let it get to a decision," said Matthysse. "A knockout is what I've been working for.I don't like to predict rounds, I'm just going to go in there and do my job."

He knew that he couldn't depend on the judges to give him a decision in St. Louis. And that he had to get the knockout.

But he didn't do it. So in a way he has to accept the loss because he failed to pull off his own game plan.
WTF? So its Mathysse's fault he got stiffed? wow.

I'm not saying it's his fault, but he knew that the deck was stacked against him and that he very likely wasn't going to get a decision in a close fight.

He said it himself that he couldn't leave it in the hands of the judges...but he did it anyway.

You could tell by the end of the fight, Matthyse knew that once it was a Split Decision, he wouldn't get it. Its such a shame this has to happen in boxing. Alexander has lost 3 fights in a row in my honest opinion.
