I'm sure Haye will make sure Wlad has a lot less success with the straight right than he usually does, and but at some point he'll have to take one. I'm afraid the fight could end at that point.

i feel the same way. wladimir is going to have to be gentle with haye to keep him lasting 12 rounds. he might even have to hold him up at times.

I know a lot of boxing fans think Haye is good for boxing. And that includes Freddie Roach. And I'll have to agree with him if Haye was a true champion and not just the hype job that he really is. Haye will go down in similar fashion as Paul Williams did against Martinez. Well that's if he shows up at all..

Wlad is not a huge puncher. What he does is he wears his opponents down round by round and KO's them late on when they have run out of steam and been broken down. His KO percentage is a bit misleading of him as a fighter.

there has been nothing and there is nothing to suggest david haye cant take a punch. he was 10/0 against carl the cat when he lost to a far more experienced pro.
but, AND I DO MEAN BUT, the sister is the chinny one here as proven on a number of occasions and in particular his one sided battering at the quick hands of corrie sanders. yknow, it still makes me chuckle when watchin it.
yes, he has been able to climb off the floor against the likes of samuel peter but, peter will never be as quick or powerful than haye in a million years.
david haye is very fast and only the sister will know how hard he punches.
he will be learned by the better,more exciting,charismatic,less robotic,less boring fighte who is david haye.

You are talking about Vitali. Wlad punches much harder but Vitali has the higher workrate and wears his opponents down, at least when he doesnt land a lucky punch as against Solis.

how the hell is haye exciting? running around the ring,not taking hits and not delivering many in return is not my definition of excitement.

Wlad likes his opponents to go into the ring full of confidence.

He jokes about having a bad chin, jab jab grab etc

Then by the end of rd2 or 3 his opponent has faced the harsh reality that he's in the ring with someone much better than they anticipated and his confidence goes down.
And by the end of rd6 they look like they are about to burst into tears and are waiting to be KOd. (But Wlad pisses us all of and waits, and waits, and waits)
