If you notice Alexander also had a 95-94 scorecard, which nobody is complaining about, it's the 96-93 scorecard that made it a sour decision, and it a blatant robbery by making that so wide, that scorecard means that Alexander won 7 rounds to 3..no way in hell!..

if it woulda been a Split Decision with two cards 95-94 and one 95-94 or 96-93 for Matthyse there wouldn't be much fuss, but this judging is getting outta hand.
I agree with idea that a fighter can robbed even if he lost the fight in the way you described. Where he can lose the fight by a few points maybe, but then the judges don't give him a single round. That basically means the fighter had zero chance of ever winning a decision.

BUT, i'm not sure that applies here. 96-93, while definitely out there, is at the very least feasible.

The scorecard you mentioned, 119-110 for Williams was an OUTRIGHT DISGRACE and there is NO WAY IN HELL that you could argue for that kind of a scorecard.

      Malignaggi said it best

That's my boy. And he should know, because he benefited from at least one, possibly two, slightly smelly decisions in '08 himself.

'08 was just a bad year for Paul, though.
