    Were you REALLY Surprised??

As soon as I watched Alexander catch somewhat of a "second wind" and clearly take the 9th, I knew from there on that unless Matthyse managed to drop him again or stop Alexander, the judges will favor Alexander.

and as SOON as the last bell rung, I told everyone around me, watch this robbery, and watch how they play it smooth with a majority/split decision to make it seem like it was really close..and BOOOM! it happened.

I couldn't be the only one, WE ALL KNEW that Matthyse would have to nearly kill Alexander to get a decision in his hometown, it still upset me, but I wasn't shocked at all

Don king + hometown = ROBBERY. Saw that coming a mile away. People wounder why Devon was such a big favorite well that's your answer. Oddsmakers factor all that in

That was a classic Merchant moment, Alexander was excited like "wait wait, you said I had questions to answer from the last fight, I answered them"

Larry Merchant "you answered some but not exactly"...LMAO!!

          UGH!!!!!!!!

This kind of thing is SOOO frustrating to read!!!!

Learn how to score close fights!!!!!!!!!!!

STOP JUDGING A FIGHTS OUTCOME BASED OFF OF THE LAST 3 OR 4 ROUNDS!!!!!! (this is prizefighting, not fighting to see who can come the closest to a KO by the last bell)

I called it out before it started when it was the same ref from the Kotelnik fight, predicted it 96-92 but didnt see the KD coming for extra point .

Don King needs to be banned from boxing, this is becoming a joke. Fool me once (kotelnik) shame on you, fool me twice (lucas) shame on me.

In the first undercard fight was a robbery too

What the hell are you talking about?

Alexander was in control maybe 3 rounds total in the entire fight..you judge fights how you judge them and I'll judge based off how I see it.

Alexander fought most rounds in spurts, while Matthyse pressed the entire night, Matthyse clearly landed the better more effective and more powerful shots, and dropped Alexander..

and if you want to try to justify the 96-93 scorecard than you're full of **** yourself bro, no offense, but nobody is saying it was a wipeout, I'm saying that scorecard was BULL****!! and I wasn't surprised at all, and it was a close fight in which I personally believe that Matthyse clearly won. PERIOD

No, I wasn't surprised. I knew Matthysse would lose if he didn't knock Alexander out and let the decision go to the scorecards. And I know exactly what you mean about the later rounds. I thought maybe Matthysse might be able to take it on points alone after the 8th round, but when I saw that Alexander was able to come back in the 9th and win that round convincingly I knew it was all over if he didn't knock Devon out in the 10th.
