Lol how did the last rounds belong to sturm? Maybe rd 12 because he decided to put together some combos for once in then final 10 seconds. Macklin won but Sturm got the gift in his hometown the body work really affected him, and people saying he landed as much as Mack thats some bull Sturm landed some very precise clean uppercuts and short hooks, but not enough throughout the fight to make it as close as some people are saying.

I actually had Macklin winning 7-5 but it was a close fight either way and I could see how some rounds would go to Sturm....no robbery at all even if I disagree with the scores.

They may very well have had their cards printed out last week but someone unbiased watching it having him up by a point or 2 at most or scoring this a draw is not outlandish in the least.

Even with close rounds given to Sturm, I still can't see how you can give 7 rounds to him.

I had it a draw but if I had to pick, it would be Sturm. I can't remember the exact rounds but I think Sturm took round 2 (or 3). I also gave him round 7 and the last 3 rounds. I really can't remember the other ones. But, like I said, there wasn't a noticeable difference in the amount of punches, Sturm did land the more quality shots and finished the fresher of the two.

I might be a little biased towards macklin because I cheer for Irish boxers. I thought he should have won the fight, but there have been more appalling decisions.

I won't get a chance to watch this fight until tomorrow, but I can imagine being similar to Abraham - Miranda 1, with the crude brawler's fans crying because he wasn't rewarded for throwing wild, sloppy punches.

Lol you must be european if you think Abraham won the first fight with Miranda as well. Macklin was pressuring and throwing way more shots and landing punches in bunches. Sturm didnt put on a boxing clinic not even close he wasnt even throwing his jab just blocking mostly and sneaking in a few body shots and uppercuts along the way. Clear hometown decision and im not a fan of either was just a championship fight I saw from beginning to end.
