Comparing the Oscar fight isn't rational either because Floyd was known by then and was favored to win. The public didn't know Manny at the time he fought Oscar and Manny was a huge underdog. I don't see how you can say Floyd generates more money now since Manny has his own Nike apparel line, HP commercials, records, concerts, etc. Floyd hasn't been in a commercial in over 2 yrs and that AT&T ad Floyd was just a small part sharing it with Bill Kurtis, Andy Rod****, Michael Phelps, etc. If Floyd fought more than once a year, the public would've gotten bored of his fights by now and his PPV numbers would actually DROP, IMO.
The big difference is that Manny and his people don't talk publicly about money, whereas Floyd brags and often inflates about his. Only his idiot fans believe him. Smart dudes NEVER disclose their income!! Keeps the IRS away.
