Because human beings are not robots and some have good days and bad days...

I never understood why people can't understand this.

Ortiz wasn't there mentally in the Maidana fight, it was the first time he dealt with that type of situation, had he been mentally stronger he could've maybe stopped Maidana or beat him by UD, he just gave up. In the Berto fight, Ortiz knew it would be a now or never to prove himself and he did, in the Mayweather fight, it will be another big test, if he is mentally strong like the Berto fight he could give Mayweather trouble, not saying that he will win but at least give him trouble. If he is like in the Maidana fight, he will get bamboozled in the ring.

Triangle theories are as about as intelligent as conspiracy theories. They don't work, have never worked, and will never work. The only way to find out how two men would fair against each other is to have them fight. All this he beat him and that guy beat this guy doesn't mean **** when u step in that ring. Styles make fights

Berto never really had solid power, he was just always so much faster then his opponents that he would overwelm them. Ortiz is almost as fast as Berto with power.

I feel like Ortiz would've beaten Maidana if he hadn't quit, or if he would have just stuck to his game plan instead of getting into a street fight.
