How did Victor Ortiz get slapped around by Maidana, then destroy Berto who is better?

Ok. Heres what confuses me. Maidana Knocks out Ortiz, then he fights Nate Campball and Vivian Harris and defeats them. That I understand, Harris and Campball are not as good as Marcos Maidana. But then He Destroys Andre Berto. I think Berto could CRIPPLE Maidana. Now the rookie who lost to Maidana is fighting a fight against a TOP 10 P4P fighter ( Mayweather ). How could he have destroyed Andre Berto and is supposed to put up a fight with Floyd, if he was KOed by Maidana? Was that fight like upset of the decade? I hope maybe a rematch one day? Now I see Ortiz by a widespread UD. People must overrate Ortiz for putting him in with Floyd. MSG TO Floyd: Pick on someone your own skill, Sergio Martinez, Manny Pacquiao, Hell at this point i will even settle for Paul Williams or Antonio Margarito. Ortiz is still Green as Grass.

Berto was over-rated. Short and clear

Triangle theories don't work, and I think in the future we'll see that Berto isn't half as good as we thought.

Maidana is a warrior. he aint some mentally weak person, like Berto is. the very 1st second I saw that guy walking in the ring..I had no faith in him. this Berto is scared of his own shadow.

Therefore exposed "megastar" who quit against mentally tough guy, B class fighter had, a chance against some1 like Berto. just wait a year or so, and see how Ortiz doing against top competition

Ortiz was beating Maidana when he quit. He knocked him down 3 times.

Because he grew balls. He's no longer scared to take a shot. You could see it in the 6th round. Even when he was in trouble, he still bounced back.

Different types of fighter, Berto kind of gave up in the second half of the fight.

Maidana walked him down within 6 rounds. Ortiz unloaded his clip and was done.

Personally, I think Ortiz' mindset was different... he wanted to win, he needed to win, he wouldn't be denied... coupled with the fact putting on some weight gave him a lot more fuel and firepower.

Maidana did not knock out Ortiz it was an upset **** like this happens in sports. Ortiz would beat Maidana more times then not the fight was only 6 rounds watch it and pay attention to the cut on Ortiz and Maidana right
