His eye is fine and if Cotto thinks he has an advantage there, he's in for another beat down. Margarito had to wait a few more months because he had a surgery to remove the clouding of the lense of the eye( a cataract). He had no issues of detached retina, his major problem was the fracture which often welds a lot stronger after a fissure.
Margarito at full 154 is going to apply so much powerfull pressure its going to wear him down again. Oh yeah, and Margarito might be going back to Capetillo for this fight. I wonder how Cotto is going to react to that. Of course capetillo isn't going to be at his corner but that didn't stop Segura.c

Just recently watched their fight again. Just ***n classic and simply put... brutal.

Was a fan of both at the time so always was a tough fight to watch. As a Cotto fan I never believed Margoz gloves to be loaded. I know Margz has the will but I'd be surprised if his body, at this point, is still capable of lasting through another war.

I'll be very honest, sometimes I think Margarito loaded his gloves against Cotto and sometimes I don't. I just find it very hard to believe that the Margarito camp was able to get away with this in the state of Nevada, where the biggest athletic commission exists! I guess we'll never know... On the flip side, if Margarito's face holds up, I truly believe Margarito will KO/TKO Cotto again. Call me crazy, but that's the way I feel. I just didn't really like what I saw in Cotto in the Mayorga fight. Also, this fight will be at 154 lbs.; a weight that truly benefits Margarito more than it does Cotto... Just to set the record straight, I do not condone Margarito being able to fight. I think he should be banned from the sport and never allowed to fight again. I'm just posting about his fight because the fact is that he is STILL fighting.

what a wasrte of a fight for cotto,first mayorga amd now someone who just took one of the worst beatings i have ever seen and hasnt looked good at all in his last 3 fights...not a good fight for a champ..should hsve tried to unify or gone after cintron who is not beatup as marg...nothing out of beating a guy like marg
