Losses aren't a big deal for 95% of Mexican fighters.

Outside Chavez Sr. it would seem that most Mexican fighters improve after a loss.

Margarito, Israel Vazquez, Johnny Gonzalez, JMM etc....

Might as well get that L out of the way and worry about getting good fights.

Is a fight that should happen TBH.

Is it a meaningful fight? No.

Is it a big fight? Yes it can be.

If the fight is held in Mexico. It can easily get 100K people in attendance.

And, if the fight is held in May or September. In a Mexican holiday weekend. It can easily sell at least 500k in PPV's.

And, if the fight is held above 154...Then I'm not so sure that Alvarez could beat JCC Jr...

I think he beats him at 158.

Feather fisted Zbik gave him hell.

I know different styles, but I think Canelo fights smart pressures in spots.

If you box against Chavez he looks lost in the sauce.

True, but then again I think JCC might be the best fighter that Alvarez has faced thus far.

To me this would be a step up for both fighters.

If you're talking about Mexican market in Mexico then yea, in the states, it won't. Unfortunately, it would be shown on Televisa or something for free. Lots of people here in the states can get that channel through the satellite/cable provider.

I'm also surprised arum admitted they both haven't been impressive.

Neither GBP or TR will make a fight of Alvarez-JCC Jr and put it on Telivisa or Telefutura man *sigh*

That **** would be on PPV and if it's in one Cinco de Mayo weekend or Mexican Independence day weekend it can very easily do at least 500k on PPV here in the U.S.
