    Top Rank's CEO, Bob Arum, is working for a quick resolution of the contract dispute with WBC/WBO bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire (26-1, 18KOs). Donaire, who inked a three-year contract with Top Rank in June 2008, believed his contract was no longer valid and he signed a four year deal with Golden Boy Promotions in March. Donaire's contract had clauses which called for certain extensions which bound him to Top Rank for an extended amount of time. Daniel Weinstein, a California arbitrator, agreed with Top Rank's position.

                  What's to clean up at 118... Donaire is running out of time, he is 28. Go for Rigondeaux. If he fights 3x a year he could be one of the future superstar.

                      well Donaire's goal is to first try and become undisputed at 118 before moving up to 122.

                          GBP need to fire their solicitors as soon as possible, this is the second time they ha e interfere with another promoted valid contract with another boxer now and something need to be done to stop them from doing it again.

                              Donaire claimed he didn't have a valid contract. This was purely his fault that he derailed his career.

                                  nonito should soften up a bit and go back to top rank, finish your contract and do whatever you wishes after. don't waste your talent with inactivity. arum is lining up some good fights for you and for sure he'll give you more money now knowing that other promoters are so interested to sign you up.
