So a translation of the Khan interview would be something like this:
"Freddie has told me I must box behind my jab and keep Judah at range at all costs. Short, fast bursts of eye catching combinations to win every round. Do not go toe to toe. Do NOT get in a war."
This is all talk from Khan,he is not going to walk Judah down..Unless Judah takes the real defensive approach(which he might very well do)..If Judah is coming forward expect Khan to be on the back foot..
Yep... as soon as Khan tastes Judahs power I'm betting he'll be doing a lot of dancing. Khan throws a lot of fast combos early in the fight, but isn't terribly worried about being accurate it seems. Khan relys on the appearance (judges/fans are wowed by speed and fast combos) more so then actually landing IMO. Judah has pretty good head movement though and can make Amir miss. Khan also tires later in the fight (punch output goes down) and if Judah can get past the early flurries, he'll be the one moving Khan backwards. But, Judah also tends to fade late in most of his big fights so it will be interesting. If Khan doesn't hurt him early I think Judah can get to him in the later rounds. Neither one of them go to the body near enough though, I still for the life of me can't understand why Khan didn't punish Maidana to the body more after the first round liver shot. Judah would be wise to target Khans body almost exclusively, atleast for the first 4 or 5 rounds. Both are mostly head hunters though, it seems.

With Sweet Pea's guidance, I like Judah's chances since he's still got pop to go along with his experience. I don't think Khan will ever go toe-to-toe with anyone anymore; so the more relaxed pace will give Zab a greater opportunity to pace himself for 12 rounds. In a technical fight, Zab can hold his own.

Freddie Roach is smart, a good game planner.
To everyone's surprise, Roach will get Khan to step to Zab and continuously stick the jab in his face. People are fixated on Judah's power and countering ability with his left uppercut, forgetting that Khan is taller than Zab (making it harder to land the counter uppercut), stands up straight (without leaning over), and Khan's quickness, which makes him hard to time and counter.
Malignaggi has quick hands and he had a ton of trouble landing on an aggressive Khan, all he could land was the occasional counter left hook early. Paulie caught him pretty clean, so I can see Judah landing it, but his chance is going to be in the first half of the fight (isn't it always with Zab?), after that, Khan jabs his face in.

Sure you are Amir. Nobody believes that nonsense. Freddie will have you boxing from the outside. If the unlikely chance this is your gameplan then it's lights out for you. I think Pernell is going to have Zab actually playing off the backfoot and looking to counter. If Khan jumps in for one of his wannabe Pacquiao flurries it's gonna be check hook time for Zab and sleepy time for Khan. Can't wait for this fight!

I think Zab will try the flashy **** for the first 4 rounds. People think hes going to be slipping and sliding everywhere like hes Sweet Pea, but he isnt. Zab maybe looking slick against Mabuza and Mathysse, but Khan is a different game altogether. Zab wont be slipping Khans jab because by the time Zab thought about slipping, Khans jab has already rocked his head back.
I got this one RipChudd man lol

What he meant about not stepping back is that he will instead literally ride a bicycle while giving out haymakers to Judah's face. Or because he used his bicycle ride against Maidana, we get to see him ride the motorcycle instead.
What I'm saying is shut up Khan! You are one to talk about not stepping back. You and Mosley should join Dancing With the Stars practically own it because of the back steps you two will take.
Seriously, this guy.
