  • Comments Thread For: Khan: Judah Fight Will Be a War, I'm Not Stepping Back!

WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan (25-1, 17 KOs) is expecting a very physical fight on July 23 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Khan faces IBF champion Zab Judah (41-6, 28 KOs) in a unification bout. Khan's last fight, a six round technical decision over Paul McCloskey, was missing those fireworks, but Amir doesn't expect the same result in July.

That is a good way to approach Zab in general, but I don't know if that is really playing to Khan's strengths. Would be interesting to see that though.

Everything Khan says before a fight about the fight is usually crap. He and Freddie got the gameplan and i'm pretty sure he will just box from the outside.

          yea..

All I know is if Khan leans in and Judah catches him with that lightning fast little counter he does be it the straight left or uppercut Khans going to sleep...

This is all talk from Khan,he is not going to walk Judah down..Unless Judah takes the real defensive approach(which he might very well do)..If Judah is coming forward expect Khan to be on the back foot..

I'm pretty sure it's Judah's plan TO step back.. Pernell boxing style like his last fight.

This "new" seemingly rejuvenated Judah still has enough speed and power to cause problems and working with Sweet Pea has given Zab a more defensive approach leaving Khan at risk for falling into traps at any time, but also leaves Zab prone to being completely overwhelmed by Khan.

I like this fight a lot.

Khan should be careful if Judah comes out and doesn't attack him directly.
