expensive card but Canelo Morales and Ortiz on mexican independence day throw in Mayweather come back and this would probably be the highest selling Boxing PPV of all time

why would the ginger fight on the undercard? he can sell a ppv by himself and not have to share the profits with wifebeater.

no doubt that wifebeater will steal all the profits and give the ginger and morales scraps.

If i were the ginger or morales I would tell schaefer to go **** himself.

That could actually work. The Canelo and Morales fights can keep all the Mexican TV money and get a small cut of the PPV sales in the US. While Ortiz-Floyd can keep the most of the US PPV money. Then put a prospect like Vargas or Gomez which shouldn't cost too much. And right there you got a 4 fight PPV card that will satisfy hardcore boxing fans and casual fans.

If it's split site PPV in 2 different countries, then we can only assume they'll work out some deal with Canelo and Morales where they keep a majority (or all?) of the money from Mexico and Floyd-Ortiz keep most of the US money.

they were talking to AEG (Staples Center in LA) about hosting the Canelo portion of this and apparently it's in serious discussion

I'd like to see Morales rematch David Diaz. Scrappy fight the first time with some controversy. Would be a good rematch.

good fight but the way Diaz priced himself out of the JMM fight my guess is he would want similar money for this one as well

That would be alright I guess, but I think they really should do it in Mexico. A Mexican legend and the most popular Mexican fighter(currently) fighting on Mexican Independence day would bring in huge crowds.

Either way, I'd assume the Morales and Canelo fights are going to keep most of the Mexican TV money regardless of the venue/country.
