Al Haymon. Dude is known as a very shrewd businessman. From what I gather he invests Floyd's money in all kinds of crap and it's paying off. If it wasn't for him Floyd probably would be broke right now.

Hes more clever than people think and has charisma... he knows how to hype a fight and draw attention to himself and the fight... even though he is often looked at with dislike and people wanting him to lose, he has backed it up with his skills... which made him gain fans and which has increased his popularity, since talking trash and catching the media spotlight so much he is generally known by many in the Boxing world and is the biggest star in the Boxing world, which basically results in nearly everything him doing drawing attention, because hes on the top of his game in his sport (along with Manny Pacquiao of course), has great charisma, knows how to draw attention, etc. which has made him gain sponsors too.

When they talked, you listened. He got rich because people want to see him. The haters may not wanna say it, but whenever Mayweather is on, they'll watch.
              pretty much this

              Talent + Charisma

              also not getting robbed helps

Too bad Manny has a really ****tty contract and is probably getting robbed by someone judging by his networth

Without Delahoya helping his crack addict Father and giving Floyd a fight both would be some where else. Sr would be begging for coins in the Vegas strip and Jr would be fighting on HBO after dark probably would have lost by now because he wouldn't be able to cherry pick little or old men. Ortiz is going to bust him up

Mayweather's nowhere NEAR as rich as he would like you to believe. Just ask the IRS. Remember a couple of years ago, he was in the news with the tax trouble?

And besides, do you know what kind of millionaire waves around a stack of cash like it's a magic wand everywhere he goes?

                  A fake-ass millionaire.

An ESPN personality asked floyd about throwing fake $100 bills in the club making it rain. FLoyd's response, you can't buy a $17 mil house with fake money.
