I believe that the biggest test in W Klitschko's career was his firsdt fight with Sam Peter, for a variety of reasons, all valid. This was a fight he absolutely HAD to win. And he won it in perfect style, giving Peter a boxing lesson only marred by the 3 fake KD's.

He probably didn't like something you said, or perhaps took it personally. But he brings up an interesting point. How have you found the time to average over 30 posts a day regularly for 4 years. That must take up all your spare time. You must be a computer whiz.
Just a point of interest, no "axe to grind".Comment

Freddy likes to carp at the Klitschkos and especially Wlad because of their past dealings. He's disrespectful because what he is saying -- that the heavyweight division needs to be saved from the Klitschkos by the more exciting David Haye -- is demonstrably bull****. Number one, Haye hasn't had even one truly EXCITING match as heavyweight, and his last fight was a disgrace. Haye was trying to fight Chagaev, Povetkin, and even Mormeck this time until Sky Sports forced him to fight Wlad because of the Harrison debacle. So the idea that he is a savior -- especially when he has stated repeatedly that he is qutting the sport for no real reason after this fight -- is just garbage and Roach should and does know better. But he can't forgive what he feels Wlad did to him.Comment

I think we can paraphrase that song "....Anything we can see, they can see better......"Haye wont come out fast imo, this might be a stand off for a few rounds, then once Haye feels comfortable that he's offset Wlad enough, he'll start trying to shoot in with his explosive attacks imo, but from listening to Steward, it seems that they've been working on anticipating this kind of thing.Comment

even OVERRATED trainers are allowed to have and voice their OPINIONS....can't be mad at Roach for saying this....just like NOONE can be mad at my OPINION of him being a OVERRATED trainer..it is what it isTrainer Freddie Roach, speaking to The Daily Telegraph, gave his opinion on why WBA champion David Haye is great for the heavyweight. Haye faces WBO/IBO/IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko on July 2 in Hamburg. Roach feels the Klitschko brothers are boring figthers who are not risktakers.

No that's just a generalized throw away comment, really meaning nothing, expecially from a reputed great trainer, who is giving an expert opinion. It's like those who used to say "Yeah, Valero was a great guy....." it really means nothing.Comment

Sorry Chopper but I just cannot see any disrespect in that whatsoever.Freddy likes to carp at the Klitschkos and especially Wlad because of their past dealings. The Klitschko's systematically beat the mediocre opposition that they face which is credit to them for their consistency. However, it's the fashion in which they defeat their opponents that is the main talking point rather than their achievements, Even Steward has admitted on a few occasions that they are to chessmanlike in their approach to boxing instead of destroying their opponents with one clean strike.
Try not to post with such vehemence when people disagree with you or talk against the Klitschko's. There is simply no need for such unwarranted hate.Comment
