He should forget Bute and fight Kessler after another easier fight. Kessler is just a lot better suited for him. More of an orthadox boxer like Pavlik. I think it'd be a great fight.

Abraham would be a better fight right now. Both former champs at MW, both needing to rebuild their careers.

tuning up Pavlik might be impossible. Me thinks the Pav is shot and depleted with nothing left. I'll drink to that.

James DeGale would be a perfect fight for Pavlik to get the rust off. Another British sacrificial lamb.

Pavlik is afraid of both euro-robots.

cool...wanna see the Ghost bounce back strong...good move to get a tune up in....Bute is beatable but Kessler puts it on Kell all day imo....Abraham and Pavlik might smack themselves for not fighting back when BOTH were unbeaten...they can fight now but the paper(money) will be shorter than it was a few years ago....I wanna see Abraham-Pavlik

To be honest, I don't know how much a tune up would really help Pavlik at this point. He's almost 30 now and I don't think he's really adding much to his game at this point in his career. Most of his recent fights, outside of Martinez of course have been against pretty weak competition. He's as ready now as he's ever going to be to fight someone like Bute, I wouldn't risk the chance by possibly getting upset in a tune up fight.
