                    I can't give it to Holmes almost based on Tyson destroying him.

                    The reason I would say Mike Tyson is an overall measurement. Not just accomplishment, record, knockouts, dominance, but also a measure of what he meant to the sport.

                    I also consider Mike being taken out in his prime. He had more room yet to go and he was knocked down by the time he was 26. He never regained what he was after jail.

                    I would say Lewis was the most "technically" dominant heavy weight of the last 30 years.

                    Tyson was a revolution, and you have to consider that when you talk about the greatest boxer of an era. Shane Mosely was better than DLH (twice no less), but I don't consider Shane the greater Boxer of the era.
