I still don't get how a cut can be "minor" but need the attention of a cosmetic surgeon....
Boxers need special care for cuts to not let inner scars develop.

Vit took the fight with two weeks notice, not Lewis. And overweight/semi retired? lol. Where do you get that guff from? He was a whopping 5lbs heavier than he was for Tyson in 02, and try taking a break for four years and coming back. Mr Haye only fights about once a year, is that going to be one of his fans excuses come July 2nd? ...The guy was semi retired The fight was stopped by an injury to Vit deliberately opened up by a hit and hold shot and later stopped when he was in front on all three judges cards. A strategy Lewis is very good at admittedly.

Vitali isn't holding Lewis at all when he deliberately pulls his head onto a grazing punch that opens up the cut. He was already marked up beforehand, but it wasn't open.

You can NEVER avenge your losses. A loss stays always a loss.

Evan Fields shouldn't even be mentioned in this poll since he has piled up too many losses, is one of the most lazy champs of all time AND is still boxing thus may add another 10 losses.

If one boxer knows he will fight and the other doesn't.

If Lennox had a fight scheduled (= on several month's notice) and then his opponent calls off and Vitali has to jump in (on 2-weeks notice).

Notice the wording: "Vit took the fight with two weeks notice, not Lewis."

^ You guys should read this. Larry Holmes isnt even in the same league as Wlad.

There is no other boxer with
as many real heavyweight fights as Wladimir Klitschko
                and less unavenged losses.
Lennox Lewis has less losses because he had less fights

It seems too ****** to mention, but apparently I have to point it out again and again:

If you have less fights you have less losses *duh*

Lennox Lewis (who is always in the back of the head of those who accuse Klitschko of not avenging) has less losses (2) than Klitschko (3) because Lennox Lewis fought only in 42 real[?] heavyweight fights (39 different opponents) in his entire career.

Additionally we should never forget that Lennox Lewis did indeed avenge his both losses… but only IF YOU WANT TO CALL the rematch "Lennox Lewis vs Oliver McCall II" an avenging:

In that fight ·Oliver McCall went into some bizarre mental state in front the audience: Walking back and forth, refusing to fight. Instead he started to cry (= tears!) and as far as I remember it was some drug withdrawal issue and it is said that McCall had been just out of the rehab and had neither time nor attitude to train properly ("Lennox Lewis vs Cold Turkey").

In the press-conference after the fight Oliver McCall complained that the referee should not have stopped the fight and that he was robbed.

Lewis had trained for somebody else, Vitali was obviously going to jump at the chance. Lewis wasnt ready for such a brutal fight. I'm sorry as much as I respect Vitali, a fully focused and properly trained Lewis beats him 9 times out of 10.

If Lennox had a full training camp behind him to study Vitali, the result wouldve been alot different.

Not many fighters look good against late replacements, usually because theyve trained for something completely different. lewis had trained for a walk over and easy defense, then Vitali steps in and Lewis finds himself in with a future HOF.

Vitali had nothing to lose in that fight, except probably his vision in his left eye

                    Lennox Lewis.

Can you imagine what a prime Lewis would have done to Vitali's face????
