Hahahaha. I agree. Also I never said Vitali was a bum. Vitali is a great fighter. At the same time I disagree with you that the cut "wasn't bad". That cut was plain horrid. It would of been stopped eventually. It was bad. I do agree that Lewis didn't wanna fight Vitali again. He wanted to retire, and I don't blame him. He looked like **** in the Vitali fight.
Who is the best Heavyweight of the past 30 years?

He avenged both of those loses, and yes I've seen the fight. Sure Bowe won the first round, but Lewis has always been a slow starter. After that Lewis destroyed him. Like I said, there's a reason why Bowe was ducking Lewis. He knew once Lewis stepped it up, that was a wrap.
Also, BTW Ruben. Name Holmes's best win.Comment

The thread started makes again the typical mistakes:
How do you define "best"?
Head2Head?
Prime4Prime?
Record4Record?
Pound4Pound?
And how can you include boxers who are still boxing? That's unfair.Comment

What they accomplished within their era defines best when comparing multiple eras, IMO. It's the only fair way to do it. That means who they fought, how they won, whether they reigned for a long time, and obviously how good a fighter they were based on the eye test.Comment

I tried clicking on the poll to see who voted for who, and where the threadtitle is it links to an old John Scully thread wtf.
Looks like some kind of glitch.Comment

As for Holmes, he fought in Don Kings disneyland for 5 years in one of the softest Heavyweight eras of all time. Ali had fckng parkinsons for Christ's sake! I give credit to Holmes for taking care of business but his resume' doesnt stand up to Lennox.Comment
