Comments Thread For: Mitchell: I'll Smash John Murray To Bits, Win a Title

Kevin Mitchell reacted to his defeat by Michael Katsidis by embarking on a six-month drinking binge that ended when his mum dragged him out of the pub.

Another great domestic tussle, but Murray would and should beat Mitchell IMO, Mitcehll is too pre occupied and he isn't serious enough to take it to the next level, whoever wins though would probably fight for a world title soon.

I came into the thread ready to say,

"you *should* smash Murray to bits, if the last 12 months of inactivity, cannabis farming, blowing white up your nose and who knows what else haven't completely eroded your talent and desire.",

and the first thing I see is,

      Not good.

I still pick Mitchell, on the basis of him being a league or two above Murray if he's coming to the ring at 90-100% of his best, but there's more of a su****ion in my mind that Murray's desirous blazes could consume Mitchell than there ever would have existed before - living like a scumbag may have fucked K-Mitch beyond my previous guesses of where his form is at.

        Lowe it.

If Kevin Mitchell loses to John Murray, he's blown some serious amount of talent in some seriously short amount of time, that's all I'll say.

Mitchell seems to be the one who's getting "smashed to bits" in this fight, as Murray's a real fighter with the grit and determination required (well, at European level at least).
I see Murray wearing Mitchell down and perhaps stopping him in the later half of the fight.

I think and hope Mitchell prepares well for this fight.

I think that he understands that Murray is a fight he can definitely win and has trained well.

I haven't seen any sort of build up or training camps or anything, has anyone?
