I'd take Cotto over Marquez and Hatton, he beat Mosley and I'd take him over Ortiz - So I think that he'd be at least a minor step up from what Mayweather's been doing as of late.

    So yeah, I'd be interested.

Thats exactly how i see it imo even this version of Cotto is better than everyone on Floyds ww resume including Ortiz. I wouldnt favor Cotto over Floyd but i wouldnt favor anyone other than Martinez over Floyd at this point with a Pac fight being 50-50 with me leaning slightly towards Floyd.

I'm saying Ortiz is a better fighter right now then Cotto yes I would even say that Ortiz is the more skilled and talented of the two. that's before the Mayweather fight was signed BTW

BTW Ortiz has the speed and power advantage over Cotto plus Ortiz is more accurate then both Marg and Pac and throws excellent combination's.

I have been calling for Floyd to make the fight happen. Although Manny is a beast every time I bet against Floyd I lost money. So I will never bet against Floyd again.

Actually I think I'd rather see Floyd fight Pac or Amir Khan after Khan unify's with Bradley. For me Floyd beating those two would cement his legacy.

Also imo a win over Clottey is better than a win over Berto.
My dude, Ortiz did look like crap against Campbell so I agree with that. However, in his lone fight at WW Ortiz handled his business. I think Ortiz is much more comfortable fighting at WW, he was a huge JWW anyway. Ortiz over Berto>Cotto over Clottey Ortiz beat Berto much more decisively than Cotto beat Clottey and Cotto arguably lost that fight. I have a TON of respect for Miguel he's a true warrior, much more so than Floyd or Manny.

Ortiz did look better at ww but im not convinced yet because i thought Berto was very overrated. I think if you switch opponents and give Cotto Berto and Ortiz Clottey you would have a different opinion with Cotto looking great and Ortiz looking lost and possibly losing. Just imagine if Vic had that cut.

Higher standards? So why are these fans not pushing for fights with Pac or Martinez? Why the excuses? Why Ortiz? Oh I see, he is giving some a lion a chance.

Ok fair enough at this point of Cotto's career its not crazy to think Ortiz is the better fighter but i disagree strongly and im sure a lot of people would also.
