Funny, i thought the Abrahammer loved the Bachelor life lol. Yea, 160 would do better and would love to Abraham against the belt holders at 160 and a match against Pavlik to where that would be a tossup imo but Pavlik probably having the edge because of his reach and height.

Abraham became one of my favorite fighters because of his fights in 160. At 168, it's not that he's too short, Glen Johnson was a top Light Heavyweight and is only 1 inch taller than Abraham, also we saw Johnson put up a better fight against Froch than Abraham did.
I would say it's the 168 fighter are too goo.d Sorry but Abraham knocked out Miranda in 4 rounds cause Miranda is not that good at 168 and Taylor because Taylor was pretty damaged from the Pavlik and Froch KO's. But he couldn't look good against Dirrell, Froch, and Ward, because they are just too good.
If height mattered, then Corrales would have beaten Mayweather, Margarito wold have beaten Pacquiao, Foreman would have beaten Cotto, etc.

Generally I like Abraham's fight, however it was clear that 168 lb is not his natural division to fight. Most of the super middleweight boxers are in their prime and are the future light heavyweight and cruise weight. In a way i'd say Abraham was actually competing against light heavyweights rather than super middleweights. In spite of glen johnson's ability to land more punches on froch than Abraham was able to, still an expert could see that Johnson too was struggling with reach problems against froch. Froch fights sideway which gives his opponents a very little target to land a solid punch, whereas Abraham and Johnson fight straight forward with both shoulders in the front which gave froch perfect target aim for power punches. Pavlik is not too fast for Abraham and it would be a good fight. As for Martinez he might struggle catching him same way as pavlik did. One great disappointment from Abraham, is that he's lazy and deosn't like to train full extent. Nevertheless, he's best at middleweight and he has no affairs in the super middleweight. He just doesn't want to go that extra mile to reduce his weight. That shows a kind of lazy ass my Armenian brother is. I've seen his training videos. Very slow and lazy moves. He's mostly successful because of his strength and punching power. other than that he'd be OK.

now lets say if he fought taylor then kessler then glen johnson. he could possibly be in the finals because they have styles more sutible for him.

Hopefully now they can FINALLY make AA-Sturm.
I do think he was exposed quite a bit at 168 and there're a few fighters at 160 who could duplicate what the super middleweights did to him. So while he may managed to get a belt, I can't imagine him having the kind of success these days that he did in his prime

He will do well again at 160 if he gets into good physical condition.
