Stunned for 10 seconds doesn't mean almost Knocked out dumbass. For the love of god those 10 seconds were the only 10 seconds Cotto won the whole fight and you wanna make it seem like he was dominating Alvarez.

I think Alvarez beats Angulo, EL Perro isn't as granit chinned as everyone makes him out to be and Alvarez is more skilled in every way when compared to Angulo.

If Canelo stays on his feet and avoids multiple knockdowns he should win.

kinda like Cotto vs Margo all over again.

Except Canelo is closer to Angulo's size than Cotto was to Margo.

      And their both Mexican.
All good points. It would be interesting to see if angulo could take some good pinpoint bodyshots from canelo. That would be his best chance to take some of the steam out of perros punches. Please don't hang me but I think ur comparison to cotto and Margarito is dead on except I think these two have a higher ceiling. I know it sounds crazy but canelo is a better combination puncher than cotto and has legitimate pop in both hands not just one like cotto he's smoother in the ring more relaxed than cotto other than that similar styles. Angelo hits straighter and harder than Margarito he doesn't get hit as flush as margs although defense isn't his game.

man i really don't wanna see these guys fight each other Martinez v. angulo Alvarez v. angulo these are good guys and great for the sport. and I'm starting to feel like Alvarez is the real deal only 20/21 has great work ethic has a strong body, better than average power OK defense and average speed. i would prefer Martinez get a shot at the top with maynever(but coward is scared). And angulo fight a bad guy like vanes martisoa or Margarito. not a fan of good guy vs good guy fights. I also think Alvarez has what it takes to possibly beat maynever and actually would not mine seeing that fight next fall if Alvarez stays undefeated and maynever gets pass Ortiz and if he gets pass whoever he fights in the spring if not i guess maybe Alvarez next fall if he decides to skip a spring fight and make huge money off the Mexicans again and make undeserved millions. one good guy that i would not mind seeing being tested is Chavez Jr the guy is 25 years old and arum is overprotecting him maybe against vanes martiosa or pwill or cotto. i doubt jr will ever be great.

Never going to happen, angulo should focus on getting a fight with someone like trout and getting a different fight

He's probably upset they passed him over to give Saul the title. I'm not sure if Saul should still be considered a paper champion after the Rhodes win; however, the way he won the title was/is complete BS!... If I were Alfredo, I'd be upset with that, too.

the absolute most exciting and explosive fight that can be made in boxing rt now is not mayweather vs pacroid its angulo vs pac or canelo vs pac due to their ko power especially angulo.and pacs propensity to eat str8t right hands which both these guys posess.and canelos smooth boxing and power and strength of youth would definitley provide a war and challenge, that pacs last 5 fights couldnt even come close to doing.

Agreed, Alvarez also seems like one of the fighters that you could easily lure into a shootout, all you have to do is hit him hard and he'll come right back. That's bad news, Angulo is a knockout puncher and will be there in his chest.

Angulo was the number one contender when the WBC decided to give the number seven ranked contender(Alvarez) the title by fighting Hatton who was unranked at 154. Angulo deserves the fight.

Angulo is good, but he may not be the monster he portrays. He lost to Cintron then knocked out two nobodies and now he's unbeatable? Cintron might beat him again if they meet. He needs to clean this mess up first before he calls out Canelo.
