seth mitchell vs chazz witherspoon on maidana\guerraro undercard

this will be the televised HBO undercard to this event.nice test for mitchell & very important fight for chazz.both 29 although chazz has lost to arreola & thompson he still is young enough to get some decent fights.

    i like this fight

if you put together HW's at significant pts in their careers eventually you are due for a fun fight

i was thinking arreola and adamek was going to be a war, but arreola showed up after six weeks of binge eating and lost

if both these guys show up in shape and ready to fight this should be a fun fight.

    are they going 12?

to be honest im not sure.if a regional title is on the line it will be 12 but if not 10 im sure...this fight & helenius\liakhovich makes for a couple of decent fights for august.

i heard liakhovich had issues in camp and was injured

        was i misinformed?

that would be a great fight if liakhovich still has the piss and vinegar similar to what he showed in the brewster fight

holy moly what a fight that was!
its a shame we don't get decent fights at H dub anymore and we've gotten used to it. cheers, bro. good thread.

That's a good step up for Seth. I like that they are moving him but not moving him too fast, seems the right pace.

witherspoon is decent but won't beat the top guys.he is a firtha, gavern, sprott, walker level of fighter.hes a C+ fighter which is perfect for mitchell at this stage.a win for chazz also gets him in the picture for more lucrative fights.

hes been slowly stepping up.his amateur background i think is limited so they have taken small steps with him but he is crushing journeyman so its time for a test.

Seth Mitchell is the only young American heavyweight up-and-comer worth watching.

I'm sure he'll have no problem against the mediocre Witherspoon.
