I dont see why people are saying for him to face Angulo THEN Cotto?

Cotto is the easiest fight for him in my mind, Cotto is past his prime and wouldnt put up too much of a fight for Canelo. Angulo is the real fight out there.

Have JCC fight Cotto and Angulo fight Canelo. Then have the winners fight eachother.

            lol...Rhodes props?...for what?
Is me the only one that find fishy that a left handed fighter fought for a championship fight, probably the biggest fight in his career, right handed most of the fight?
I understand to switch here and there to confuse your opponent; but most of the fight?

Canelo's team did him wrong, this kid could be good but he is way green still, but now he's the WBC Jr. Middleweight Champion and they put a big a$$ bull's eye on his back. I don't think he can beat an Angulo, Dzinziruk, Cintron, Cotto even Margacheato, and will have a hard time vs a Vanes, Trout or Powell...

Anybody knocking this kid is a straight up jealous pusssy ! hes definitley in the running for a pacroid fight and definitley can beat alot of big names.after last nights performance there is no question he is deserving of the hype. Pacroid got hit 202 times by margs, absorbed lots of punishement from cotto, and jmm, in a year or 2, I can see canelo definitley beating pac by stoppage, he hits very hard has great fundamentals knows how to fight a southpaw, shoed a very good defense last night, and has youth on his side.people act like pac is unbeatable but all he fights are old shot incapable losers for that reason id be very surprised to see pac step up to this kid, it should be the other way around , but thats pacs m.o. dont fight anybody thats a true threat, this kid is a threat, hell beat jr or cotto quite easily. After pacs last performance I really dont see what *******s are soo confident about, pac has terrible terrible defense and is noticibly slowing down.

I like both Canelo and Chavez jr. But it seems that most people extremely hate on JR, just because he's not his dad. Honestly i believe after last night that Jr's competition is tougher than canelo's.

if anyone is to talk crap about jr, the same should go for canelo. Their level of competition is low, but they are still just kids! Canelo is 20 and jr is 24 now but never fought until he became a pro about 5 yrs ago.

Whoa there son. I'm not criticising Alvarez so much as his recent competition, Rhodes being the perfect example. He was unknown, never won anything, already had a long career (he was old in boxing), and all the stats were against him (punch output, punches eaten). He never fought outside of England before and he had no great or secret weapon, so it was not hard to see the writing on the wall. Canelo looked good, but the numbers and situation were all on his side. He better look good, at home, with a used punching bag. Canelo should fight someone with much better numbers and skills than Rhodes and not surrounded by his relatives, with his uncle as the ref. then we can discuss greatness.

Canelo is doing very good for a 20 year old

I like the way Canelo fought tonight he showed alto of improvement in the ring, he looks like he is becoming a complete fighter. if he can fight a better name fighter then we can truly see if he can hang with the top contender.
