Truth be old. Not being biased. I think that Manny and Bob Arum has exposed themselves with the level of competition and the ducking that has went on from 140 and up. Alist of events that took away his luster.

This business is done with Marquez. Trilogy finally but when the fight was competitive and a very profitable fight for both. Manny wanted nothing else to do with a quick counter puncher, whom would stand in the pocket and trade with him.

Streak of fighting fighter who came off a losing streak or that had there luster taken away with a bad loss. These fighters dont add to his legacy but shows that Arum will squeeze every penny out of Manny and try to make him credible with a good promotion but in reality hurt him with his choice of opponents.

Truth be told though Floyd is a bigger version of Marquez whom want lead or take as many chances as fighters like Cotto, Margarito or even Marquez to that extent. If Floyd decides to stick behind his Jab and keep distance and win a points decision will everyone give him credit. I dont think so because it will turn into another sparring session, especially when Manny will have to take crazy chances and get caught with punches he doesnt see coming and are acurate. This will make him look average and people will still think he is a goat eventhough challenges like Martinez and Paul WIlliams at 147 or Berto were never an option but fighting Margarito suspended for cheating was a reasonable fight. Though to be honest it seems to me that Floyd wanted nothing to do with those same individuals. Make the fight and lets see the outcome.

the reason why floyd isnt p4p or fighter of the decade is because he doesnt fight anyone. mayweather being the favorite is based on his undefeated record, pacquiao's war against a counter puncher like floyd (marquez), and maybe because his unorthodox style is still underrated.

its a toss up and thats why everyone wants to see this fight.
