Alvarez's head movement is a lot better tonight.

Hardly the same kid that fought Hatton! Very impressed, maybe I was wrong about him needing more time.

Also, hard to believe that, so far, Mathat was more of a challenge than Rhodes. Rhodes is waytoo tentative and not working enough. He's going to have to do for something soon or Alvarez is going to steamroll him.

Again though, Alvarez has really been wotking on his defense. His upper body and head movement is solid so far. Very impressed with his work so far tonight.

I think im jumping on the Canelo band-wagon. Dude has some nice combos/ hes countering counter-punches / not too agressive and not too passive, attacks at the right time.

Im liking what I see from him. Mexicans better not boo him cuz he gonna take his talents to Mexicali.

Alvarez is up 3-0. Rhodes landing a few good punches but Alvarez is working him with the combination punching.

hmmm, Alvarez is looking pretty sharp. hes trying out some high level techniques, although they still need some refining. not perfect, but looking good so far. and I think Alvarez will grow a lot from this fight.

Rhodes keeps changing to lefty and is not working, Canelo just knocked him down..
