Almost lost a finger. Tough. Good on Mick protecting his dog. I would have done the same.

ok peole first of it all it does not say it was a pitbull,2ndly ,I worked at a vet hosp. for 5 years and pitts are not naturally agressives toward people.People train them to be.(even Cesar Millan talks about this on his show) in fact the Humane Society ranks the pittbull as the 5th most stable dog a family can own.I do not own a pittbull ,(have 2 mutts that were shelter dogs) But if you look at the Pittbiulls history there was a time pittbulls were used as nannys for kids becuase they were very protective and loving. In fact the only pitss we had trouble with were the ones we supected(and reported) that were being trained as fighting dogs.Chow Chow aere a hell of a lot meaner than Pitts.and those damn little chihuahua bit me every time. so remember its not the pitts it is the jackass owners.

I strongly reserve the right to shoot the mutt, and punch the owner in the face repeatedly until the police arrive. Un-fkn-acceptable

Man,this world is turning to shizz. Last month, my grandpa (turned 87 this week too) was cutting the neighbor's grass across the street when another neighbor's dog (yes, it happened to be a pit) jumps the fence and bites him on the arm. Luckily, he is cold blooded due to his old age and was wearing a jacket so the wounds were not nearly as bad as they could have been.

Yesterday, I was eating lunch with a friend and he tells me that he ran into this guy we went to high school with at a bar where dude is now working as a cook. He saidthis guy got attacked by a Lab about 6 months ago and the dog bit off BOTH his top and bottom lips. Apparently, they had to put his bottom lip up in place of his top lip and thendo some kind of crazy skin graph for the bottom part. He has to drink through a straw or the liquid will leak out an opening that is still healing around the bottom lip.

What are people doing to their dogs out there?

                      So, yeah.
They came from somewhere. At some point someone had control over it.
