nahh. if floyd is really smart, he should be announcing that win or lose he will face the pacman next.

these two fights, may/ortiz and pac/marquez 3, would be much bigger than they are now if they are promoted as fights leading to the megafight.

seems mayweather is still not interested in fighting pac. unless i've missed something recently coming out from the mayweather camp.

I'm feeling more better about the Pac-Marquez fight. People judge Marquez off his performance against Floyd but we gotta remember Floyd is a defensive wizard and he makes everybody look bad. Marquez was throwing a lot of good shots but Floyd wasn't there. Pacquiao will be there so i think this fight will be closer than everyone thinks. Pacquiao hasn't fought anyone like marquez since he fought Marquez so it's easy to say Pac is a beast now. But you have to examine his opponents who are the ones making him look like a beast. There is a reason why there are years in between fights with pac and marquez. Pac just isn't confident enough and there is a reason.

Mayweather will fight anyone who will take the tests. People say Pac already agreed well then ok. After Mayweather fights Ortiz they will ask Mayweather about fighting Pac. And he will have the same response he did after the Mosley fight. If Pac takes the tests we can make the fight happen. If not then no fight. If Pac beats Marquez they will ask him and he'll probably say. "ahhh I'm just a fighter. I'll fight anyone. It's the job of my promoter to make the fights. I'm just a fighter."

This is their 3rd fight, right?

The reason is that Manny was able to do well at WW while Marquez wasn't. Maybe if Marquez took a different route, he would have been more successful in moving up to at least 140. At that point, a fight at 142-144 with Manny would have looked more achievable in many eyes. Instead he tried to jump 2 divisions to take on Floyd and you also need to take into account that Marquez had only 2 fights at 135lbs. That would not be easy for anyone.

.... but with that all said and done, I'm sure that there will be some doubt in Manny's camp since the first 2 fights were close. It's just natural.

pac is on video saying he will take the tests, though he didn't have to. denying the existence of this video just proves you're not a normal fan who is supposed to celebrate seeing such video. it means you now have a chance to see your idol beat the pacman and not engage in fantasy fight anymore.

apparently, such video is more of a bad news to you than anything else.

We can't bash Marquez for moving up 2 weight divisions to fight the best fighter in the world in Floyd. When Pac moved up he never took on the best. Pac has had what 4 fights at welter and has only fought 1 champion and that was a catchweight. So he gets way too much credit in my eyes. Pac is not on Floyd's level no matter what the fanboys say. Pac vs Marquez will look nothing like the fight Marquez had with Floyd where in the 3rd or 4th round Marquez already looked defeated. Pac vs Marquez will go 12 rounds and Marquez will give Pac hell all 12 rounds.

What is more credible a video where Pac's english looks more than suspect? Or Pac telling the whole world after 1 of his fights that he has agreed and wants to fight Floyd? So far there has been Clottey, Margarito, and Mosley. And after every fight they ask him and he says nothing just a bunch of jibberish. Umm's and ahh's and more bull****. After team pac called off the fight during the 1st negotiations floyd made a public statement saying that not only does he wanna fight pac but he wants to whip his punk a$$. In that statment alone he has said more about wanting the fight than Pac has ever said. prove me wrong

there is a difference between what you say in some random video, and what you say after a fight, and when its time to negotiate, Floyd said right after the mosley fight, before the Marquez fight was signed, agree to the tests we can fight, we are just waiting on the call, and before you say some non sense like why don't Floyd call, think.about his ego, he dont chase fights, they chase him, Arum ignored it like usual and signed Marquez. so Floyd once again takes a bigger and better fight then what Pac takes
