Yeah he fights like a Mexican and he came in to the ring with something that look like a traje de charro hahaha

But he really reminds me of an orthodox Valero, even his face kind of look like Valero when he was fighting Mosquera in Panama (and like Golovkin also struggle in that fight)

I saw those fights live, you should try to get a copy of Rigoberto Alvarez vs Rubio, if Alvarez didn't get so exhausted he would have finished Rubio that was saved by the bell.

And I was really dissapointed when Rubio was destroyed by Jantuah like that
So are we discounting the more recent and relevant fights with Pavlik, Lemuiex and Zertuche x2.

That Kofi fight was 7 years ago.

Didn't see the Alvarez fight. Couldn't have been too bad he got a TKO.

He got the TKO versus Alvarez because Alvarez was more exhausted than when Wlad was KO'd by Lamon Brewster

Alvarez put Rubio down and a shame that he couldn't finish the job because Rubio was out of this world and was saved by the bell

Also Zertuche is not the same that fought Pavlik, he's losing fights versus Mexican prospects right now.

Than he went back to 154 to fight for 4 years.

He only went up for the title shot.

Jermain was on his little man tour.

                Taylor fought Spinks after that.

Golovkin will destroy Rubio, Rubio doesn't have the chin he was stopped by Jantuah in 1 round and was decked by Canelo's older brother.
In that recent youtube interview Golovkin says he walks around at 161 lbs so no.

Quality rounds, contested at a high level, with film to study to get better. He's some work before he's ready to challenge someone like Martinez for the real World title but nothing wrong with that.

And, hey, he's watchable as hell. Much more so than the so far disappointing Korobov.
Korobov has been very watchable and exciting in every fight iv seen of his, throws more combinations, has no problem mixing it up, etc.

                  You saw the size difference.

Ouma had his best years at 154.

Rubio's chin is solid Mr. Box rec.
Same as above, neither is Golovkin.

I have a hard time believing that.

He's never fought below 160 and he fought at 165 as an amateur.

I just haven't been entertained by Korobov recently. Golovkin is relentless where Korobov can be plodding. Probably just growing pains. Talent wise, they're still right at the head of the class with the rising Middles.
