Actually, Floyd abided by his contract. The contact was for 144lbs. with $300K for every pound above 144. He came in heavy (yet still within the WW limit) and paid the fee, as per the signed contract. Marquez accepted and the fight continued.

So, why did Manny have a penalty for Morales being overweight above and beyond what the commission was doing? I'm sure it couldn't have been because Morales was having trouble making 130lbs. and Pac was looking for an advantage, right?

whats a crazy to me is that manny is breaking commission rules by demanding more than 10% as a penalty for coming in over weight which is the nsac maximum allowable fine for being over weight. 10% of the fighters purse. Manny demanded 10 million per pound over more than the 10% mark of 40 million purse floyd would be recieving. but again to a ******* its ok for manny to break rules just not anybody else. thats why they defend catchweights, fighters coming off of losses etc. they dont care about facts or logic only the glorification and exhaultation of their lord and master manny pacquiao. all for some ignorant racial/national pride.
