Floyd probably couldnt make 140 as he didnt even make the contracted weight of 144 versus marquez. That being said Marquez and Pacquiao could make lightweight if they wanted too, and Marquez has in his last two fights. These are guys that were fighting at featherweight not too long ago.

Floyd is really just a welter/maybe jr middleweight. JMM/Pacquiao lightweights. Thats why Pac should get more credit, if any for this fight with marquezs. Thats what people love about pac is that he transcends all these different weight classes and continues to beat the competition which is why Floyd Sr thinks hes on steriods, cant really blame him for his claims tho.

Wow,so Pacman is a lightweight??Wrong,it is a fact he is a welterweight.But according to guys like U & the rest that try to validate giving him any kind of credit he's a lightweight.Which makes it even worse(if u think about it)than even Floyd.Because what ur saying is Pacman is a lightweight who won't fight another lightweight at lightweight but at welterweight where only he is effective.2 years after another welterweight has proved that he wasn't a welterweight.So in hindsight Pacman is looking for a large advantage at welterweight,being that he's a lightweight correct??That's rather pathetic then,isn't it??

No one is going to get credit for beating Marquez 2 weight classes higher than his weight class until he proves he isn't poor at the weight.
