Floyd shouldn't get undue credit for this win. People seem to think that because it was a boxing lesson - weight wasn't a factor in the fight. If you box, you will know that this argument is invalid. Floyd outweighed Marquez by around 12 pounds (my belief) on fight night. Sometimes I am asked to box people who are smaller than me but are technically on a similar level. However, I can outbox them easily because their lack of weight means that they can't hurt or push me around. I can relax and let my combos fly with greater ease than would be the case if i was sparring someone equally as large and equally as skilled as myself.

Put it this way - if you were sparring somebody much lighter than you would you be relaxed enough to do the flashy defense and skills (you will know what I mean if you box) more easily? You inevitably look better with smaller guys irrespective of skill difference.

Basically. Just like this terrible November fight happening with an even older Marquez.

Robinson doesn't get any credit for Armstrong and Graziano and he never will. Fact.

Holmes doesn't get any credit for Ali and he never will. Fact.

Etc etc etc. And rightfully so.

Floyd Mayweather doesn't and never will get credit for beating Marquez 2 weight classes higher than where he fights.
I thought Norris went to the HOF (sadly) because of the Leonard name.
          Anyway...it's still not 50 years.

But he indeed cheated further not only JMM but people like me. That's more disgusting.

It should not make more than 500K PPV buys if it's terrible. Don't know why this fight happened. It doesn't make business sense.

Using that logic, Margarito-Pacquiao shoulda sold 15 PPVs. Margarito-Mosley 2. There will always be a d*ckrider easily fooled. Right, Chupa?

Mayweather gets no credit from me I knew he would dominate I knew it was too much for JMM to handle and the result was totally what I expected
So you're not giving Mayweather ANY credit because of the weight difference?

So I'm guessing you'd pick Zab Judah to destroy JMM in similar fashion if they fought at 147?

LOL! You see how silly that sounds?

An objective minded person can clearly see that Floyd beat JMM based on skills first and foremost.

Weight played a factor but a very small factor.

JMM barely landed a punch on Floyd. So you can't blame that on weight. That's called ELITE DEFENSE.

Also, Floyd came out of his semi-retirement to fight JMM. Ring rust surely effected Floyd as well.

Nothing in that fight told me that it would be different at 135. Hell, Floyd was faster at 135, so if JMM couldn't hit a 147 Floyd then how will he do it at 135?

                      LOL!
