      Listen man,

Fights are not judged by the number of punches and power punches landed. He didn't do **** for the first 5-6 rounds, he may have beat the **** out of Taylor, but Taylor won because he was throwing punches n ****.

But going back to the point of the thread, I say no. You cant ban Germany without banning Las Vegas.

It is equally as bad. And maybe worse in a sense because of the big names and marquis fights.
The thing that really gets me about German fights is that no matter now bad the decision is the fans will always applaud the winner. When i see a bad decision in Vegas the fans normally acknowledge their man should have really lost.

If not ban them they shoudl at least investigate some of these decisions, especially something as bad as Ottke vs Reid, i know everyone keeps mentioning that fight but it just goes to show how bad it really was.

But i suppose fighters go to Germany knowing the could get robbed, but they take the risk because the moneys so good.

          Listen...

There are ten thousand more title fights at Vegas then there is at Germany...

A very small ratio of these fights are robberies, where in Germany a large percentage end in robberies.

I admit. Reid v.s. Ottke was horrible.

Keep in mind though. Here in the States, robberies are common.

Fights are judged round by round, Hopkins could have landed 10x as many punches as Taylor but it doesnt change the fact Hopkins lost the first 6 rounds because he didnt even try to fight.

                  Oh god.

One judge gave 3 of the first 4 rounds to Trinidad. Also the 12th to De La Hoya.

That fight = Fix from hell.

his advantage in power-punching was well distributed over rounds, as shown in the post that precedes yours

Hopkins dominated in terms of power-punching in 8 out of 12 rounds, including rounds 3,4, and 5.

I only see the bigger fights in US, so i probably dont see these robberys. Here in the UK fights normally get judged correctly, theres always a few debates about close decision but thats always going to happen because its personal opinion.

I like Augustus, but he does get a few bad decisions. Surely a man who give Mayweather trouble should have a better record than he does.
