I don't know if Canelo will have a good career. I remember than when I first saw him ( maybe 10 fights ago ) I thought that he had good potential. But now I just don't know anymore. He was pretty bad against Lovemore N'dou and I think he wasn't good enought against Matthew Hatton, I mean Matthew was a smaller guy with no great talent and even though he won he should've looked much better.

About Chavez Jr I'm pretty sure that he won't have a great career, unless they continue to give him bum after bum, or give him some decisions in his fights of course.

Now about bigger "hype job", I think it depends a lot on what do you mean with the question. I think Canelo has potential to be better than Chavez Jr, but at least in Mexico Canelo has a lot more promotion than Chavez Jr. Televisa ( TV broadcaster and the responsible of promoting canelo so much ) just hype him a lot, and by a lot I mean something just unbelievable, everything Canelo does is just perfect for them.

In Chavez Jr case, Azteca TV also hypes him, but they are a little bit more objective, in fact in his last fight against Zbik, Lamazon (Azteca's commentator) gave the fight a draw 114-144, and Marco Barrera was really worried saying that Chavez Jr should go for the KO because he wasn't sure if Chavez Jr was going to win.

haven't seen to many Mexicans have you?
Some of my best Mexican friends have been ginger
and some of my family looks Caucasian it isn't rare

it's actually fairly common
