well, they said they are willing to take the test but at a certain point.

what differs is what cutoff they want, but at least them not taking blood too close to the fight is consistent.

still think the commission should be the only one to impose tests on fighters, if they have a problem with the current test, then put the blame on the commission, not the fighters who abide those rules.

anyways, don't really matter to me if pac takes the tests or floyd agrees to the cutoff. i just hope it gets done, don't care who gives in.

It is a contract negotiating for tougher standards is not some unthinkable thing, as long as it meets commission standard better testing should not be an issue for them. If a guy feels it is an issue it is much easier to do it in a contract for their fights than to change the whole damn system because they have more to think about then what a single fighter cares about.

I would hope it can be worked out though as it should have never been such a big issue to begin with.

It's not about that. Manny made/asked his own demands, and Floyd has agrees to all of his demands. Manny has not returned the favor, and he want to dictate the test's schedule itself instead of just agreeing to it completely.

So what if you feel a guy is cheating for whatever reason you want to know, and in boxing the guy across the ring has every right to demand the guy across from them is clean.

I don't have a problem with more stringent testing if the comissiom demanded as if say in my case the military demanded it. Which they do. You cannot use any supplements including Andro, but if this wasn't the case i would not say let someone my equal rank and my peer tell me what i could and could not do.

If the comission makes it standard than fine, but one person should not be making these kind of demands and ultimately holding the boxing fan hostage because of it.

I can meet you half way and say that it shouldn't have become as big of a deal on either side. I have no problem with Floyd asking for it, and I have no problem with manny refusing it. The problem i have is slandering someone elses name with no proof as Pascal did with Hopkins. It creates doubt and is not fair to that individual no matter who it is!!!!!!!! Your not guilty til proven innocent, this is America your innocent til proven guilty.

As I have said I honestly don't beleive Manny is on anything, i really think the struggle is more based on principle and not bowing down.I honestly think it is more driven by Top Rank than Manny.

I hope it all gets worked out as well, but i am getting to the point where if it doesn't so be it, and they just need to move on. In all honesty the boxing fan is the one that is ultimately being cheated by both sides.

You also have to remove yourself as a fan and your emotion lookomg at it from both sides and relate it to your personal situation. I don't know where you work, but would you let someone dictate to you what was gonna be done who was your equal and not dictated by your company? I don't know many people that would. You have to look at it outdside the box.

I agree that all comissions don't always have the fighters best interest in mind but if that important, you unite with other fighter and make a consolidated petition and demand change.

I'm not against the idea or the test, just the way it has been brought about.
